You can't achieve the effects of this with polish. Brown bees wax was mentioned on tv by an antique expert so I had to try it. You only need a bit on a cloth and work it into the grain of the wood and then buff with a soft cloth. It darkens the wood slightly , looks more nourished and cared for. I used it on a walnut table that had been previously stripped to be painted (Not stripped by myself) and it put a lovely colour and matt shine back to the table. I have also used it on other furniture that had seen better days to be honest, and it has given back some of their former glory although not perfect they are loads better than they were. I will buy again. I also got the light one as well although I have not tried it yet. Smells a bit but it is not unpleasant.

Easy to use and loved the deep shine, however not to keen on the smell. But like everything in life there is always swings and roundabouts, the good points outweigh everything else. Fabulous product, would definitely recommend this to everyone.

Over the last few months I've found it increasingly hard to find a natural beeswax polish.I happened to mention this to an antique restorer and he told me about Cambridge polish. I'd recently bought an old table that needed some tlc. so sent off (via Amazon)for it... I can now see my reflection in the table! It feeds the wood, is lovely and easy to use, very creamy so polishes off easily. Would recommend it highly

I have used this product many times and have always been more than satisfied with the results, my current project of a very old varnished oak table I inherited has proved how excellent it is. The table had been heavily varnished and not wishing to sand it down I will admit it has been hard work. It is better to apply thin coats, and on a project like mine, it works well. On more cared for furniture /wood etc. thin coats are all you need. Excellent product, but like all cleaning materials you should ensure some small amount of ventilation.
